About Me

A graduate of Dublin Institute of Technology, I hold a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) from the well-received Dublin School of Architecture on Bolton Street, Dublin 1.

During my academic break, I worked for a year at Seán Dockry & Associates in Galway, Ireland. I spent this time drawing up planning applications, tender packages, fire cert applications and initial residential and retail design proposals. Working within a team environment, I also produced a number of 3D renders and town planning proposals for the local council. (http://www.sdaarchitects.ie)

In my free time, I have volunteered almost every year for Open House Dublin. This involved acting as a source of information on the Open House project, marshalling all visitors to a building and breaking them into groups for the guided tours inside. I have acted as the Tour Guide for the past two years that I have been involved. (http://www.openhousedublin.com/)

I am a long term member of the Wet & Wild Sports Club and have volunteered my time organising and planning kayak training days and weekend trip for its members. (http://wetandwildsports.com/)

During my time in academia, I discovered a great love of water sports and the great outdoors, hiking along many of the mountains and hills along the East coast of Ireland. I hold a Day Skipper Certificate from the Royal Yachting Association and have been trained up to the Irish Canoe Union’s Level 3 standards.
