Each landing along the winding stairs provided various aspect of the requested brief – a coffee dock, a book swap space and a digital library to address the lack of on-site library facilities.

On the ground floor, the existing restaurant is to be reconfigured to accommodate a new exhibition and crit space for the use of both schools. This space feeds off the main entrance annex and is a visible and accessible interchange between students, staff and visitors to the school.
